Jouw rol
In the position of COMSOL/CFD Specialist, you will work on the whole product range of this company and develop state-of-the-art functions and concepts. During engineering and realization of the concept you support where needed, to bring the concept to a mature product fulfilling the customer needs. In the beginning your focus will mainly be specialist multi physics modelling, COMSOL/CFD, where you will be supporting process and mechanical disciplines. You are part of the Technology/Development Team and be involved in/supporting the System Architect Team. You report to the Manager Engineering.Support critical design choices with modelling and calculations;Deliver input to maintain and update technology and product roadmaps;Specify efficient implementable set of functions and concepts to start and support system design;Recognize/resolve technical risks and emerging problems in time and address them with the team;Actively participate in design reviews and brainstorm sessions;Identify and initiate improvements of existing processes and systems;Maintain, increase and share own expertise;Conserve, maintain and make available applicable knowledge within the organization;Research applicability of new emerging technologies;Development of efficient system architectures and concepts;To formulate and look after system specifications;Translate product definition into platform and or system specification;Estimate and plan your own workload and monitor progress in an agile way;Support in creating test plan for the functions of the product.
Wat vragen wij jou
- Bachelor/Master in the field of physics, mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering;
- Three to ten year experience as a system architect or multidisciplinary developer;
- Experience with modelling CFD, heat and gas transport;
- An open minded and out-of-the-box analytical thinker;
- Team player, possessing eagerness to work in a multidisciplinary and international team of engineers;
- Can work independently and take responsibility.
